Welcome to Tanpan Room, an interactive negotiation platform designed to help users develop and practice negotiation skills through negotiation challenges and educational content. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Tanpan Room that governs your use of our platform and related services.

By creating an account, accessing our platform, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our platform.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use Tanpan Room. If you are between 13 and 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. If you are a parent or guardian agreeing to these Terms for the benefit of a minor, you are fully responsible for their use of our platform and any consequences thereof.

Tanpan Room provides interactive negotiation training through role-playing exercises and educational content. Our platform is designed for educational purposes to enhance negotiation skills in professional and personal settings.

To access Tanpan Room's full features, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and choosing a unique username. During registration, you must provide accurate and complete information and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy by clicking "Accept".

You may only create and maintain one account per person. Creating multiple accounts, sharing accounts with others, or allowing others to use your account is prohibited. Account selling, trading, or transferring to other users is strictly forbidden.

Your username must comply with our community standards and may not be offensive, impersonate others, violate trademark rights, or suggest affiliation with Tanpan Room or other organizations. We reserve the right to require username changes for accounts using inappropriate names.

You are fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any security breach. You will be liable for all activities that occur under your account, whether authorized by you or not.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account and access to our platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Inappropriate conduct or harassment of other users
• Attempts to cheat or manipulate negotiation scenarios
• Providing false information during registration
• Engaging in illegal activities through our platform

Account suspensions may be temporary or permanent based on the severity of the violation. For serious breaches, we may immediately terminate accounts without prior warning.

Tanpan Room is designed as a platform for practicing negotiation skills. Users are encouraged to:

• Engage constructively in negotiation scenarios
• Practice negotiation techniques in good faith
• Interact respectfully with other users, maintaining professional courtesy
• Provide constructive feedback when requested
• Use the platform's features as intended for skill development and learning
• Report inappropriate behavior or technical issues to platform administrators

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension or termination:

Cheating:

• Sharing any scenario content with other users before, during, or after a negotiation round
• Using unauthorized external assistance during assessed negotiation exercises
• Collaborating with others when individual performance is being evaluated

Harassment and Abuse:

• Bullying, intimidating, or harassing other users through any communication channel
• Using offensive, discriminatory, or hateful language based on race, gender, religion, or other protected characteristics
• Personal attacks or threats against other users
• Sharing inappropriate, obscene, or explicit content

Platform Disruption:

• Deliberately disrupting negotiations
• Spamming chat channels or communication features
• Attempting to hack, exploit, or manipulate platform software
• Sharing login credentials or allowing others to use your account
• Bypassing or attempting to circumvent platform security measures

Given the nature of our platform, integrity is paramount:

• Individual Participation: Users must complete negotiations independently without external consultation, research assistance, or collaboration with others
• Real-Time Monitoring: Certain scenarios may include monitoring to ensure authentic individual performance
• Prohibited Resources: Users may not consult external negotiation guides, AI assistants, or receive coaching during negotiation rounds unless explicitly permitted

Violations of these conduct rules will result in appropriate disciplinary action, which may include:

• Temporary suspension of platform access
• Permanent account termination for severe or repeated violations

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and take immediate action to protect the platform for all users.
